Hop in and your smart phone automatically syncs with the Bluetooth® so you can immediately
start streaming music, download your phonebook and, of course, take calls. The 7-inch
touchscreen is the media nerve center of the car. Use it to check out uploaded pictures,
play videos and music, and even use the available integrated navigation system to map out
your next destination. For music, you've got nothing but options. Select playlists from your
phone, stream Pandora, XM® Satellite Radio or use the iPod®/USB inputs. Gracenote®
music ID management displays album art, and has voice recognition that allows you to choose
your music by artist, album or genre.
Navigation System and Rearview Camera
A large, easy-to-read screen and intuitive interface makes navigation a snap. XM NavTraffic®
feeds you real-time traffic info, while an integrated rearview camera helps get you in and out of
even the tightest parking spots.
Photo Memory
Even when your friends aren't sitting next to you, they can still be in your car. Upload photos
and videos to the 7-inch in-dash touchscreen.

Enjoy your music safely. Steering-wheel-mounted audio controls keep your eyes on the road and
your hands upon the wheel.
Standard 7-inch Touchscreen
This is the command center for the Veloster. Use it for navigation, staying in touch with friends,
uploading photos, switching music between Pandora® and the hard drive or even use it to play
Xbox 360™. In the mood for a movie? No problem. Connect your video player through the
RCA jacks, kick back and watch your favorite shows. But only when you're parked, of course.

Notice anything different on the passenger side of Veloster? Expressive styling and smart features like the stealth 3rd door turn form and function into a powerful attraction. The result offers the look of a sporty coupe with the added benefit of easy access for rear-seat passengers.

Rearview camera with backup warning sensors
Make the most of your most important safety features—your eyes and ears. Engage reverse and the available rearview camera sends a live image to the 7-inch touchscreen in the center console. Superimposed guides aid in backing up. If there are obstacles behind the vehicle, warning sensors will sound when they are detected.
18-inch alloy wheels with painted inserts
Veloster's available 18-inch alloy wheels give it a strong presence on the road. And for a select few, the available painted inserts coordinated to match the body color provide a custom touch. And Veloster is the only sporty coupe to offer them.
Panoramic Sunroof
The available panoramic sunroof improves your view to the top, and with the touch of a finger, transforms the comfortable cabin by filling it with air, energy and light.

450-watt Dimension® premium audio system
Finally, an audio system that's up to the challenge of playing along with your life. The available 450-watt Dimension AM/FM/XM Satellite Radio/CD/MP3 audio system delivers plenty of power with 8 speakers including an 8-inch subwoofer to keep up with your eclectic tastes. Your audio options include streaming music via Bluetooth®, compact discs, personal listening devices like your iPod® or even streaming music from select mobile phones.
Proximity Key entry with push button start
When you're carrying its high-tech key, Veloster will recognize you and unlock the vehicle. Once in the driver seat, one touch of the push button start brings the Gasoline Direct Injection engine to life.

Safety
Six airbags and more
Even our take on safety is extreme. Six airbags with a Front Occupant Classification System, high tensile strength steel and a sophisticated Vehicle Stability Management system are all standard on Veloster.
Vehicle Stability Management (VSM)
Veloster's Vehicle Stability Management system coordinates Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Traction Control System (TCS), plus the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) with Brake Assist to create an integrated active safety system to help you avoid accidents.
Electronic Stability Control (ESC)
One of three elements in Veloster's Vehicle Stability Management system, Electronic Stability Control uses sensors in the steering system and at each wheel to compare where you want to go with where the car is heading. If a difference between the two is detected, Electronic Stability Control slows the appropriate wheel to redirect the car and help keep you on course.
Traction Control System (TCS)
Working in tandem with ESC, TCS limits power and applies brakes to individual wheels to reduce the occurrence of wheelspin, and routes power to the wheel with the most traction.
Anti-lock Braking System (ABS)
Emergency braking maneuvers can cause wheels to lock up and skid, resulting in a loss of steering control exactly when you need it most. Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) helps prevent the possibility of wheel lockup under hard braking, and rapidly pulses the brakes to help you retain steering control as you come to a stop.
Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD)

Performance
1.6L Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI) engine
You'll be amazed by Veloster's 1.6L GDI engine. It's both strong and efficient, generating 138 horsepower and delivering up to 40 Hwy MPG. That's better highway fuel economy than the Honda CR-Z hybrid.
6-speed EcoShift Dual Clutch Transmission with paddle shifters
Typically found on high-end cars, the sophisticated 6-speed EcoShift™ Dual Clutch Transmission with steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters incorporates the latest technology while delivering smooth and efficient power.
Active ECO System
Engineers for the environment. Extensive computer modeling and powertrain performance mapping was used to modify engine and transmission control, giving you improved real-world fuel economy up to 7% based on internal tests.
Sport-tuned suspension
A modified front suspension featuring gas-charged hydraulic shock absorbers delivers a sportier ride while the Motor Driven Power Steering (MDPS) has been tuned for increased steering response. Large front and rear stabilizer bars reduce body roll and improve handling and control on the curves.
Hillstart Assist Control
Innovative anti-gravity device. Every Veloster equipped with an EcoShift Dual Clutch Transmission comes with standard Hillstart Assist Control. This confidence-inspiring feature is designed to minimize backward rolling when starting from a stop on steep ascents.
